Members of ILC Africa Region will meet in Kigali to develop New Africa Land Conflict Management Strategy

The members of the land conflict thematic group of the International Land Coalition (ILC) Africa region will hold a consultative meeting for three days to develop a 3 year land conflict management strategy for Africa. This initiative resulted from the ILC Africa Regional meeting held in Lomé in November 2010, where the development of a regional Land Conflict Strategy was identified as a priority given the fact that land related conflicts are still a big challenge in Africa.

This meeting will bring together participants from different sub-regions of Africa in order to bring in various experiences and good practices to be included in the strategy.
