Description
2011 is another special year for Rwanda Initiative for Sustainable Development (RISD) as it marks her 14thanniversary with commendable successes over the last 14 years, in particular contributions made in supporting the implementation of the Land Tenure Regularization Program (LTRP) with particular focus on the protection of Land Rights of the majority rural Rwandans and the vulnerable, towards the achievement of the economic poverty reduction. During the period under review, RISD has not only embarked on the protection of the land rights, in Rwanda but also the regional context like the monitoring and contributing to the implementation of the Africa Land Policy and Guidelines (LPFG).
